The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions is proud to offer a hybrid BSN track, the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN). The 16-month track is for individuals who have at least a non-nursing bachelor’s degree or at least 60 non-nursing college credits from an accredited institution.
The ABSN program in San Antonio is a full-time, intense nursing program geared towards the self-motivated, organized and dedicated student. The rigorous ABSN includes 62 credit hours of online didactic coursework, hands-on learning labs at our learning site in San Antonio and clinical experiences in a variety of settings with clients across the lifespan. The ABSN track prepares you to graduate practice-ready in as few as 16 months.
